For years rumours spread through certain circles that The Fuzztones once participated in a recording session while under the influence of LSD, yet the alleged tapes have never surfaced - UNTIL NOW!
The "session" in question was, however, not a studio session as many have intimated. but a rehearsal session with Rudi, Michael Jay, Elan and original drummer Michael Phillips, although Deb O' Nair did come late and can be heard on two of the tracks. What we have here is a series of instrumental "jams" the band recorded while under the influence, for the intended purpose of creating soundtrack music for an indie film that Michael Jay's brother, Andy Christensen, was filming, starring The Fuzztones. The film was never completed, although two videos did surface from it: "The Witch," and "Ward 81." We have painstakingly remastered these (stereo) recordings to enhance what was originally lo-fi quality to present this historical material in the best possible audio quality. ENJOY!
