about

Rudi's first appearance on vinyl (1972).
Springhead Motorshark was basically a cover band specialising in their adaptions of Jethro Tull, Alice Cooper, David Bowie, and other hard rock bands of the day. They did, however, perform a few originals, two of which were recorded at Baldwin Sound in Mechanicsburg, Penna. and later released as a 45, which even received (minimal) airplay on local radio station WFEC. During their brief tenure, the band played the college circuit throughout central Penna. Years later, heavy metal hair farmers Britny Fox
borrowed the band name to use as the title for one of their albums.
Upon closer inspection it was discovered that the boys in the band also hailed from central Pennsylvania, posing the question, Were they fans of Rudi's band?
